Men’s Groups

(Posting early for a placeholder with some of the basic concept(s). Will come back to elaborate and polish up.)

Men’s groups are awesome. Two or more gathered in his name.

The idea though is not to come to get filled. But to pursue God so deeply and truly in your own regular life, that when you come together with other men who are doing the same, there’s an overflowing into each other.

There’s something powerful about a group of men seeking the Lord together. Something different than a church service (comparison to public education, vs, like, a Montessori/Dalton school method). There is accountability. There is a personal connection, a sharing, a listening and being heard, instead of just a passive intake of information. There is the difficulty of dealing with different people’s personalities, possibly, and the growth that comes from that.
